TENDONITIS
Tendonitis is a condition that occurs when a tendon becomes inflamed or irritated. It can happen in various areas of the body, such as the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, or ankle. Tendonitis be caused by repetitive movements, overuse, injury, or aging. Acupuncture, Massage, Cupping, Guasha, treatments are an effective treatment for tendonitis. When all techniques are combined they have a powerhouse effect! In traditional Chinese Medicine the main theory for pain or injuries, is to promote blood flow and energy to the area. This helps promote healing. Acupuncture involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the to stimulate the healing response. Cupping and Guasha use suction and scraping techniques to increase blood flow and reduce muscle tension. Massage techniques can also help to relax muscles and improve circulation, leading to reduced pain and increased mobility.
